About our Director

Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Educare Solutions, with a career spanning nearly 20 years in education and professional development.

He holds a BA and MA from Newcastle University, an MPA from the University of York, and a PGCE, reflecting his strong academic foundation. Currently, Alex is a postgraduate research student at the University of Reading, pursuing his fourth year of doctoral-level study.

As an interdisciplinary educationist, Alex’s expertise bridges Politics, Sociology, and and Public Administration, offering schools and educators a holistic perspective on teaching, learning, and leadership. He is also a Certified Integrative Practitioner, combining life coaching with counselling skills to support both staff and students in their personal and professional growth.

Alex further strengthens his commitment to personal and professional development with his pastoral care qualifications: he is a CPCAB L4 Life Coach and holds a CPCAB L3 Counselling Skills certification.

With over 10 years of experience as an Examiner for a leading UK exam board, Alex has developed deep insights into curriculum standards, assessment, and student outcomes. His specialist knowledge in behaviour, exclusion, and safeguarding (BES) ensures that schools working with Educare Solutions benefit from practical strategies grounded in evidence and experience.
